Reed Construction
Reed Construction Data is part of the largest business publisher in the world. They had a need to not only redesign their site, but to reorganize much of their existing disparate web sites and their traffic across many business divisions.
They initially leaned toward using Microsoft's SharePoint suite for their CMS, but after some research and study with regard to ease of use, implementation, and price, the decision was made to go with ExpressionEngine.
The Work
Upon completion of the intial design, we got to work building templates and designing the site structure within EE (ExpressionEngine), learning as we went. The scope was large, and resources were few (me), but it was baptism by fire, and collaborating with some folks within Atomic Fusion, we successfully managed the client, the project, and ultimately launched the site.
Today the site has gone through some internal changes, adherence to design has wavered, but it is a highly functional site with dozens of people able to contribute and manage content.
